One Piece: Burning Blood is a 3D fighting game based on the popular One Piece anime and manga series. The game features a wide variety of characters from the series, each with their unique movesets and abilities.

One Piece: Burning Blood Game Review

Gameplay mechanics are intuitive and easy to pick up, but the game also offers a lot of depth and complexity for those who want to master it. Its focus on team-based battles and strategic use of character abilities adds an extra layer of depth to the gameplay.
I really enjoy such round-based games where you use various strategies to fight with a character and use their abilities. One of my favourite genre to enjoy overall.

The graphics and sound design are excellent, with vibrant colors and detailed character models that capture the spirit of the One Piece series. The game also features a variety of modes, including a story mode, arcade mode, and online multiplayer, which adds to the game’s replayability.
For me, the story mode was my have-to go for. I love the series and so, I enjoy most One Piece-based games. The original voices are a pretty cool thing to have. Gives the character their original vibe.

The story mode follows the events of the Dressrosa arc, allowing players to experience the story through the eyes of various characters. The story mode is engaging and well-written, with plenty of cutscenes and dialogue to flesh out the characters and the world of One Piece.
Tho, I really didn’t expect that at this point. For me, I was looking for a bit more than only the Dressrosa arc. But that was me and expecting too much. In the end, I pretty enjoyed the play.

Final Thoughts

One Piece: Burning Blood is a fantastic game that offers engaging gameplay, excellent graphics and sound design, and plenty of content to keep players engaged. It’s definitely worth checking out for fans of the One Piece series or the fighting game genre.

Tho, it’s only focusing on that one arc during Dressrosa. So, if you’re looking for more, this might not be the game for you.
