11/27/23 Happy Book Date Monday – It’s Nov! Revitalize Your Reads

Last updated on February 5th, 2024 at 08:55 pm

Book Date Time – It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet and share what you have been and are about to read over the week. It’s a great post to organize yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit, comment, and… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date.

Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kid-lit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle-grade novels, young adult novels, or anything in those genres – join them.

Last week was interesting; I had time to catch up with some games. I am still on Heat of The Everflame. I still needed a break from so many pages to come, haha.

No plans on what to read next so far. My TBR pile is pretty big, but I usually go for what I feel like going with. And yeah, sometimes, that’s a newly bought book. On other days, it’s one of the stacks.

Gaming-related, however, I had some time to finish AC Unity – and here I must mention it was enjoyable. Arno is such a funny character to experience. I even played the additional mission, Dead Kings. What are legendary weapons for, if not to use them in a proper fight? I would not know the answer.

Afterward, I was about to try Odyssey but decided to give Brotherhood a re-play first to pass some time until it’s finished downloading. As Brotherhood is my favorite series game, I don’t mind playing it again. It’s worth it.

Besides that, there are no game-related plans for what’s coming next. As Odyssey is already a considerable experience, for now, reading it takes 46ish hours for the main story. And that’s already a lot. I don’t know where to get that time from, anyway.

However, watching-related, I had Goosebumps and Five Nights At Freddy’s. Both caught my interest but didn’t fully catch me. I didn’t play the games of FNAF or read the short stories of Goosebumps, so maybe I am missing something I don’t know yet.

How’s your Book Date Monday been? Have you played any of the AC game series or FNAF? Read the books of Penn Cole’s The Kindred’s Curse Saga. Or watched Goosebumps or Five Nights At? – If so, what do you think? Let me know in the comments. Only keep it spoiler-free!

  1. no immediate reading plans for me either! There’s a list of books I do want to and plan on reading once I have the time, but right now there’s no time to read for fun lol
