It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. What am I reading?
At the moment, I have three books on my current-reads list, which is a bit unusual but might not stay for long.
Court of Claws – I’m still on the second of the Blood of a Fae series. I haven’t had a great chance to continue so far. I plan on finishing it, tho.
Heat of the Everflame – This is a book I started in 2023 and haven’t finished yet. I want to finish it because it has been fun, and I am excited for Burn.
Iron Flame – The latest one I only started yesterday as a buddy read with a friend. So far, we’re only through the first two chapters. I’m curious if it will get us.
In all honesty, I haven’t particularly planned on reading it. I don’t know if I’ll finish or even review it. I suppose that depends on how much it gets me with excitement. I’m mostly curious if the hype will get to us since we weren’t as fascinated by Fourth Wing.
What books are coming next?
So far, I don’t have any plans for what I will read next or in which order. There are only a couple of books I plan to read when they’re released, which are so far:
Burn of the Everflame
Knight of the Goddess (Blood of a Fae #4) – I’d need to finish Claw and Empress of Fae first.
Extended
Since I usually do a bit of an extended version and talk also about video games and movies, here we go.
What am I currently playing, and what’s coming next?
My current play is Fallout 3, as I was mostly curious (me and my curiosity, haha). Fallout is a game series I haven’t thought of liking so much. I first played it on my friend’s Xbox and liked it a lot, especially with Dogmeat as my best companion! And although the games have a rather depressing theme and I am not great at aiming, I love it! <3
Eventually, I’d go with Assassin’s Creed 1 and Altair next, and as soon as Palworld is optimized and verified for SteamDeck, I’d go for it.
What have I watched?
The Irrational is a good show. I was only looking for something to entertain me, and it did its job. I also watched Migration, for which I have already written a review.
