Let’s Talk Bookish – Reading NonFiction – is a weekly series created by Rukky at Eternity Books and hosted by Aria at Book Nook Bits. The complete list of October topics can be found here.
This week, it’s about Reading Nonfiction.
October 20: Reading Nonfiction (Hannah @ Hannah’s Library)
Prompts: Do you read a lot of nonfiction? What is the last nonfiction book you read? Are there any nonfiction books you always recommend to others? What are your favorite nonfiction subjects to read about?
Let’s Talk Bookish: Do you read a lot of nonfiction?
I usually don’t, but I try to get myself into that genre more often. However, I haven’t gotten much into it yet.
I prefer fiction a lot more, as it really has to pick my interest for me to go for it in the first place.
What is the last nonfiction book you read?
One is about true crime murder cases, and I tried Michelle Obama’s first book, but the first is hard to read when it’s dark outside. The second was at least somewhat interesting, but not mine, still.
Are there any nonfiction books you always recommend to others?
Not really, as I don’t have any favorites here. I’m trying to get more into the genre, but some topics are especially hard to read. Others are a bit easier, so I tend to focus rather on those.
What are your favorite nonfiction subjects to read about?
My favorite subject is True Crime, but I struggle a bit with reading since the imagination can be much worse than watching a video sometimes.
However, I tried and still try to go with one or the other book because it interests me. It might depend on the sub-topic since it’s a broad area. Murder cases are a bit harder, as I’m not much into horror or crime in reading. But I still like the aspect of looking behind the scenes.
However, I finished the biographies of the German Youtuber Montana Black, and he released two books as far as I know. Both books are currently available in German.
Consider reading my Reviews of his books!
Do you read nonfiction? What is your favorite subject? Any subjects you can recommend? Tell me in the comments!

Like you, when it comes to non-fiction, I do love true crime, especially when done right.
Yes! It’s absolutely an interesting genre! What do you like about it the most?
