“Do I Have That Book?” Challenge/Tag!
Welcome to the Do I have That Book Challenge! I saw this one over at Dini’s and found it interesting to join. Even though I couldn’t answer all the questions, I still wanted to give it a try. Originally created by BookTuber Tabby, meant to be as time limited, I rather took my time on it, so I could answer without pressuring myself.
Do you have a book with deckled edges?
- I don’t think so, as I do my best to save them from such an experience. I don’t like books getting damaged in any way, so I try my best to always secure them beforehand.
Do you have a book with 3 or more people on the cover?
- Underworld (Assassin’s Creed #8) – Back when I was all and into Assassin’s Creed, I got all their books. or at least those I could get my hands on. I havent read any of them yet and am not sure if I’d even keep them nowadays or swap them for a version in their original language.
Do you have a book with a title 10 letters long?
- Wicca Creed by Mara Wolf – After what feels like a decade since I last read a book which’s original language is German. It suprised me on how much I liked it, as I technically abandoned reading andything German some time ago.
Do you have a book with a title that starts and ends with the same letter?
- Empress of Fae (Blood of a Fae #3) by Briar Boleyn – I’ve started it a whole while ago back when I got it as an ARC. However, I somehow put it on pause and wasn’t able to get back into it again. Might re-read it at some point to give it another Chance.
Do you have a book written by an author using a pen name?
- Kay Humphreys; The pen name for Kelsey Humphreys
Do you have a book with a character’s name in the title?
- Ariane by Pandorya
Do you have a book that was turned into a TV show?
- Bridgerton book series by Julia Quinn
- A Discovery Of Witches by Deborah Harkness
- The Mortal Instruments aka Shadowhunters
Do you have a book written by someone who is originally famous for something else? (celebrity/athlete/politician/tv personality…)
- MontanaBlack – He’s a famous German Youtuber and Streamer.
- Horde (HORDE: Das erste Zeitalter #1) by Liza Grimm
- Ariane by Pandorya – Who’s a German (mostly) horror game let’s player.
Do you have a book with a clock on the cover?
- Keepers of Time (The Keepers of Time Trilogy #1) by M.N. Kinch
Do you have a book written by an author with the same initials as you?
- I don’t have one or an author with my initials as of now, so I can’t answer this one
Do you have a book of short stories?
- A collection of Love, Theoretically, Love on the Brain and Under One Roof by Ali Hazelwood – Such amazing stories, I love Ali’s writing and they all deserve a review.
Do you have a book that is between 500-510 pages long?
- Dune #1 by Frank Herbert – Haven’t started this one yet, as it’s page count has me postponing it a bit. But I will get to it, since I loved the movie.
Do you have a book that was turned into a movie?
- Purple Hearts by Tess Wakefield – I’ve watched the movie before I read the book, I think. However, I love them both and the book a bit more.
- The Kissing Booth by Beth Reekles
- The After book series by Anna Todd
- Divergent book series by Veronica Roth
Do you have a graphic novel?
Yes, I have a few of these! Starting with my favorite anime I slowly started to get the manga for – One Piece – but also a classic is on the list: Death Note. Attack on Titan is one I started to get the volumes as well. However, I try to get them as Omnibus volumes nowadays, as they feel like they have more on them.
There’re a few questions I couldn’t answer and had to decide between explaining why I don’t have a book fitting the topic or just leaving them out.
As I’ve listed all the questions down below, you have a proper overview on them and can answer them yourself, if you’d like.

[ENG] Good morning and thank you!
You’re happy to join, ofc!
For most questions on the TTT tag I probably could manage a mix of them, but I don’t think I’ve read enough to go only for read books, so mixing them together might be a very good alternative! In a way, it’d give me the chance to check on my TBR but also wishlisted books and remember on why I originally put them on the list or bought them 😆
I’ll see which email I use for these things and will make sure to keep an eye on emails for comments and replies, thanks!
Kind regards,
Samy

Samy
