So, I decided to go with an older prompt. I finished a draft but never got to publish it: How do you organize your books? By color? Author? Genre? Do you often re-organize your books, or are they always the same? If you have a lot of ebooks or audiobooks, do you have a way of organizing those?
As a first to mention, I‘m already quite picky on the books I buy. As I nowadays try to make use of our local library as much as possible, I only buy those I really absolutely enjoyed and call absolute favorites.
As I was bad at holding myself back on buying books in the past, I now handle it way better and look at it twice, including a check on my library, before clicking on the buy-button.
Let’s Talk Bookish is a weekly meme that touches on various aspects of book organisation.

Book Organisation: How Do You Organize Your Books?
How do you organize your physical books? By color? Author? Genre?
I don’t really have a system at the moment, as most of my physical books are in boxes, waiting to be unpacked.Only tried to keep them separated as read and unread shelves. So, I would know where to put it when I finished a book.
On my Goodreads, however, I try to keep them organized at least a little bit. As there‘re my genre-lists which are separated into read/ unread already, I know I can go through any on the read pile when I look for something to write about.
Considering various methods of book organisation can lead to better choices.
Do you often reorganize your books, or are they always the same?
Many readers find that personalizing their book organisation enhances their experience.
Effective book organisation can help you locate your favorite titles quickly.
How do you think book organisation impacts your reading habits?
I know for a fact that I would re-organize them from time to time. As a first, I‘d always try it on a digital shelf like Goodreads. It‘s a possibility, since I haven‘t tried it yet, that I would go with it once I like one idea.
Or maybe, I go with genre-shelves, so if one is for my typical paranormal fantasy adult reads, and one for everything non fiction & else, then I can still add the system by author or colors. (I think the color-system might be very much an idea to try out!)
If you have a lot of ebooks or audiobooks, do you have a way of organizing those?
I don‘t have many audiobooks. In fact, I only have none but one ARC audiobook I decided to listen to a year or so ago, which doesn‘t even officially count. I might get back into that, once I have more on that pile. But at this point of time, I‘m not entirely interested.
My downloaded ebooks on my iPad aren‘t organized in the matter. It‘s more of having them listed after the date they were added.
Not even my finished books are sorted extra or anything. Honestly, I wouldn‘t know how to sort them.
I tried it once with rating or on reviewed/ unreviewed, but didn‘t follow through for long.
So, all in all: I don’t have an actual system on categorizing them but I might get one sooner or later, since the books only get more, so I can find what I’ve been looking for.

I would love to have an organized nook for my books if i had the space for physical books. I have about 4-5 physical books that I keep in a crate and haven’t finished, I think I would organize them by size or author and keep fiction and nonfiction seperate.
Sounds like a plan! I’d separate them as well!
(I’m sorry, it’s so late)
